Saw these stacked high in Woollies years ago - 1993 according to small print in this screenshot. Strangely enough I never purchased any in the series!

The writing on the box says Volume 5. According to The Gerry Anderson Memorabilia Guide this contained the episodes Avalanche, The Trap, Special Assignment, and Heart of New York. If I am reading the listing correctly this was originally released by Channel 5 in the UK on VHS in 1987, then re-issued by Polygram in the early 1990s. The box also says die-cast Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle Toy, Large Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle Model and colour transfers - were these for the large model ? Note the change in terms, from toy for the small version to model for the large version.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I had which came with a model was a DVD of The Three Doctors, which came with a die-cast Corgi model of the car Bessie, but without a driver.
