And don't forget Monty Python. One of the first Python sketches aired was BICYCLE REPAIRMAN on Planet Krypton.Here you have Superman fixing an Austin FX4 taxi. As someone who owned a 1960 automatic FX4 you needed help like that to keep it running.
I remember seeing that sketch when it was first broadcast. Everyone was talking about it the very next day at school.
