  1. Kind of related: my father worked in New York City in the late 1960s/early 1970s, and of course he knew of my obsession with all things Anderson/AP Films/Century 21, so one day he comes home and says, "Did you know there's a Century 21 Department Store on the Upper West Side? I wonder if they sell the British imports of your space toys?" I promptly found the phone number via the operator and called them up. However, the guy who answered sounded like an ESL person, and it was difficult for him to understand me, or me him. I asked about all the TV series I could think of, sci-fi models, rockets, etc., and he kept saying, "No, none of that, no, none of that." I never was completely convinced that the store did not have some connection to the British concerns, but I never did get down there to check it out.

    1. ha ha, I love these Century 21 stories. Like the Needle in Seattle. Zigg, just googled that store and there are pics of its old location in NYC back in the 60's. Amazingly its still around, in a different street and you can buy at least one space toy from it! https://www.c21stores.com/products/daron-toys/20-piece-nasa-space-exploration-model-set/7169-1177.html?lid=search
