Knowing my tendency to be a pack rat and having toys strewn all over the place I've been very good at keeping my stuff out in The Cave or perhaps in the closet. The old shelves in the living room had other collectibles but no toys.
I like that Tone, lofty nesting sanctuaries! Makes me think of a back I read as a teenager, the Stonor Eagles, who lived on the stone circle of Callanish I think!
AAMOF, in my house the furniture are placed ON TOP of toys boxes. I'm thinking of getting rid of them, and starting to use directly the boxes as furniture instead... :-D
I keep the more useless toy buys in a plastic tote.hard too pass on a hidden gem for a dollar

DeleteI know where you're coming from, Woodsy. The top of our wardrobes have also become lofty nesting sanctuaries for flocks of packed toys to hide out :)
