I'll probably tidy the garden ready for Moonbase Junior next week. He loves collecting the fallen apples and putting them in his buggy trailer! What do you think you'll be doing today?
Wrestling with sculpting the 1/3 scale puppet head for my heroine. At something the size of a chicken's egg, tiny changes can make a big difference. I'm in awe of the people who created Joe 90! I'm also researching the best way to incorporate a lip waggler in the style of Supermarionation. Current candidates involve miniature servos, either controlled by dedicated circuitry or an Arduino mini computer. As I'm not an electronics buff, I'm finding this part particularly challenging!
Currently listening to the Judie Tzuke album "I Am the Phoenix" on good old Cassette. I have some relative's coming over this afternoon to participate in my ongoing birthday celebrations.
We've had some good weather over the last day or so, so the lawns will be dry enough to mow with luck. As a child in the 60s I used to love to mow the lawns in my Grandmother's house where we all lived and I was born in. So it'll be a bout of nostalgic gardening sometime after breakfast.
Nostalgic gardening! I like the sound of that Bill. Judie Tzuke eh! I went to see Judie Tzuke round about 1978 or 79 at Lancaster Uni. I absolutely adored her and listened to her LP Welcome to the Cruise all the time. It was her single Stay With Me till Dawn that won me over first of all and I sent a copy of it to my girlfriend at the time and who is now my wife! The power of Judie Tzuke! Oh, and a very happy belated birthday Bill!
