An excellent cavalcade of models, Scoop. Each and everyone special in its own way. What caught my eye in particular is the model of Stirling Road studios. Would love to see it fully equipped!
For years I have had this idée fixe of having a wooden box of an old television set with rounded screen corners, and staging it with a Thunderbirds studio scene, with puppeteers and all. However, lacking every skill to realise such craftmanship, I have reverted to cherishing my inner vision of it.
Yes, the models all looked great, some very talented modellers there. The Stirling Road studio model did have a couple of rooms with some miniature items. One had the Tracy Island lounge with a puppet gantry overhead, and another had a tiny Thunderbird 2 on it's launch pad. I like your idea of a '3D' TV scene, it reminds of those animated model rooms you'd see in seaside amusement arcades, usually at the end of the pier
