CREEPY OLD GAMES 1: KA-BALA

  1. That's a cracking Halloween find, Woodsy! Certainly an 'unusual' vintage game and one I've never seen before. Wonder if it created a division of opinion like the Ouija board has?

    1. I've not heard of any controversy about this game Tone. There's a slew of creepy games but I really like these ambitious and plasticcy board games with lots of plastic parts. Green Ghost is another. I once bought a Waddington's Ouija Board game through the small ads in a newspaper. We went to Leeds to get it one night. Felt strange to be buying a Ouija for kids! I sold it on but just can't remember when. Collecting games was once a great passion of mine and I had a lot, all from car boots in the 90's: Mine a Million, Go, Airport, all complete and so fabulous to look at. I never played the. Just stared at them! I've got quite a few books on board games and love to oggle at the treasures inside and regret having sold many of my games when I was a toy seller. Still, they were fun to find and own for a while and I still have a lot left in the attic.
