HAVE YOU EVER LEFT SOMETHING BEHIND?

At a recent car boot sale I walked past a number of old toys and games without buying them. Twenty years ago I would have bought them all for my Ebay shop and toy stall. These days I am much more frugal. These are the vintage things I remember. Would you have got any of them?

1. Happy Families card deck and many other old decks
2. McDonalds Batman 1989 Catwoman and big cat
3. VTech boxed Tracy Island
4. Gabriel Lone Ranger and Tonto - loose £25 the pair.
5. Huge child size Darth Vader figure - missing one hand
6. Tufty Road Race Game
7. Lollipops Pop-o-Matic Game [like Frustration]
8. At least 50 loose modern 1990's Action Men

Anything of interest?

Writing this reminded me that I recently forgot to pick up something I'd bought at another sale: a loose Action Man - style Jeep and Trailer from the Strike Force range, I think from the 90's. In great condition and just £2, I left it with the seller till I'd finished and completely forgot, driving off none the wiser till I got home!

Have you ever left something behind?

  1. Saw several action figures in a charity shop recently for a fiver each, all in perfect condition. Nearly bought one, but I've got over 70 various action figures as it is and don't really need any more, so I 'passed'.

Back in 1972, I left my Tonibell Miniball up in the loft when we moved house. Went back 19 years later and retrieved it. Now had it back for 28 years, which seems far less a period than the 19 years it lingered in the loft.

    2. Favourite? H'mm, that's a difficult one. Maybe my Pedigree Tommy Gunn, or perhaps my Pedigree Captain Scarlet - or it could be my Palitoy Action Man. Hard to say, Woodsy. Let's just say I love 'em all.
