XENOMORPHIC MORNING

Its a noisy and sickly Sunday here at Moonbase, a lot like the film set on ALIEN!

I'm flat out on the settee with a churning stomach and feel like death warmed up! I'm typing because its about all I can do. Lord knows what's up. I made spag bol last night but the Missus is fine. My grown up children all have food poisoning where they live - so not my spag bol - but I'm wondering now if we've all been exposed to a bug when we were together earlier in the week, although Moonbase Junior is OK I hear.

If I suddenly rise and demand vast amounts of pasta from a tupperware bowl John Hurt-style then I'll expect my t-shirt to start ripping soon after.

I mention noise because we have a roofer here re-felting the extension roof. It leaked in like mad during the recent rainstorms. Not so much an extension, more like the pouring cargo bay where Harry Dean Stanton stands and cools his head Timotei-style looking for that pesky ship cat Jonesy.

At least he won't be bothered by wasps. The exterminator dealt with them on Friday. Its the queen I'm worried about and all those lines of leathery eggs deep in the cavity wall!

The roofer has a long blow torch though and I can well imagine him hunting down the bug that's invaded my ailing tum through the leaking house. He'll probably find it wrapped round the U-bend.

So much for a peace and good digestion. Its what they call a Shake and Bake Sunday on Earth!

I'm off for a lie-down. Just need to avoid Ash!

Hope you're all well readers!

  1. Hope you are better already Woodsy, get well soon - but please keep that roofer with a blow torch a good distance away from anything plastic!
