JK Auctions recently sold a resin prototype of the never commercially released 113 John Steed's Jaguar from the 1970's New Avengers UK TV series. The prototype was originally part of the Parodi family collection who had exclusive import rights to Dinky Toys for Italy.

  1. I recall that when THE NEW AVENGERS was aired an interview with the person responsible for modifying the standard car revealed that the new wider stance tyres made the car unstable when driven. Steed was safer with his Le Mans Bently.

    1. You know Terran, I can hardy recall the New Avengers. Just the odd thing. Steed, Purdy and .... Gambit? I get it the third actor mixed up with Doyle or Boyle in the Professionals! Age! Interesting about the unstable car. I wonder what happened to the cars used in either series?
