HOME MADE MOON BUGGY: WHEEL CONTENDERS

Now the Moon Buggy model is made I thought I'd post some ideas I had about possible wheels.

The wheels of the moon buggy are special. They make it really.

Looking like small Sixties lampshades I thought "What can I use?".

The first idea was kinder egg cases, which would be cheap. I may even have one in the house. The next was bottle tops of some sort.

E-cig liquid bottle tops might work but the closest match in terms of look has to be toy doll bottle tops like these:

They come in at least two sizes and in America they even stock yellow ones just like the Moon Buggy wheels!

But I aim not to spend too much on my home made models and I would need four packs of these to get four tops the same colour. That would be nearly £20. That's too much moolah!

So I opted for a cheap alternative. Plastic golf balls. I can split them in half.

They're yellow and they're cheap. I ordered ten for just over £2 with free shipping .... from China!
