ROCKET PLANE: MF 101: TINPLATE SUPERSONIC

This is an interesting tinplate rocket plane on this UK dealer website. It has hints of the Chinese tin Moonship.

There's a flicker of Gerry Anderson design in it too.

What do you think? Have you got one?

  1. It's a beauty! The nose reminds me of Firefox and given its date it proves there's no new ideas in aviation!- Mark J Southcoast Base

    2. Yes and no, I think I was 14 when it came out, it was brilliant then but lots of it doesn't work nowadays, I think the British aviation expert is played by Freddie Jones and you could be watching Krull for his delivery! Lol! -Mark J Southcoast Base

    3. I had the hardback book for years but never read it! I get the film mixed up with Blue Thunder for some reason.

    2. Sigh... all the beautiful toy boxes we once had, which were either discarded, or else they deteriorated on their own. I am sure I was not alone in thinking that the boxes were in many cases as cool as the toys inside!
