Yep, it appears to be an all purpose rescue vehicle Terran doesn't it. I always like Reg Hill's design. The rear fins recall the Batmobile. Somehow the large canopy, the fins and the front spike all come together into a pleasing whole.
Don't think I've ever owned any Supercar collectables as a kid.
I was fortunate to own a Plaston Supercar toy (I clearly remember the postman delivering the package to my home!) and a Budgie soft metal toy. If only I still had that Plaston... the box art was fantastic.
Judging by the events shown Supercar grew up to be Thunderbird 2.

DeleteYes, Budgie released a metal Supercar in 1962. Comet Miniatures also released a small metal Supercar in 1997.
