So Long Ken.

its with great dismay and sadness that I have just learned of the passing of one of tv and film's heroes, not to mention a great friend and creator of TV21 memories, Mr Ken Holt. Scoop reported recently that Ken was spending time in hospital and it would appear that he has unfortunately passed away just last night. Our sincere condolencies go out to his family. Godspeed Ken and thank you for all the magic.

  1. Such sad news Bill. It was only last week that Ken contacted Scoop from hospital and a week later he's gone. What a great shame. First Mike Noble, now Ken. The Century 21 and TV21 staff are fading so fast now. RIP Ken.

  2. I met and chatted to Ken several times at various conventions. A lovely man and always glad to talk about his times at Century 21, and always full of praise for Derek and the team. Sadly, his health meant he couldn't attend recent conventions, in particular the SHADO Cons. For those who managed to see him at the Andercons or Cosford events, his first hand experience of running the studio provided a wonderful personal insight into the day-to-day workings of Century 21. I was glad to know you sir.
