This photo made me nostalgic for the SpaceX line, so I went back and reread much of your amazing website. The story behind these toys is a book in itself, and your research is impeccable. I had several of these toys in the US under the Golden Astronaut label and loved them to pieces. However, I had no idea of their extremely cool origin. Like so many cool toys of the time, they just showed up one day, and you grabbed as many as you could!
Again many thanks for the very kind words - it's what makes it all worthwhile to have done. :) I had no idea at the time either, and like you, got as many as I could and then loved them to bits. Never imagining that they'd come back into my life and provide -so- much fascination!
