CEREAL BOWL RACERS BY KEV D

Hi,

Woodsy kindly sent me some scrap parts recently that I could use in model making. Included were parts that made little racing cars.

I remember these cereal gifts from my youth and couldn't bring myself to cut them up, so made this scene instead!

Take care,

Kevin D

Woodsy adds: these spare parts were originally donated to Moonbase as part of a larger group of cereal premiums many years ago from long-time reader and supporter Andy B. Thanks Andy!

  4. thats a premium job indeed Kev. I love the way you can take the hub and engine covers off. Amazing detail from R&L's days producing superb cereal toys.

  5. They look incredible!-the originals were actually bought from a toy shop, so if they were designed as cereal premiums, looks like somebody marketed the surplus in shops.

  7. Beautiful work Kev. I had to look twice. Are these really the small plastic racing car parts I sent you?
