TENTH BIRTHDAY FINALE EXCLUSIVE: CENTURY 21 AND PROJECT SWORD IN GAMES AND TOYS TRADE JOURNALS

This year I was fortunate enough to acquire a group of vintage UK toy trade magazines.

They included much to interest the space toy collector, Century 21 enthusiast and fans of Project SWORD and SpaceX toys.

Many of these pages are new to the blog. I hope you like them.

The magazines were a group of Games and Toys kindly donated by blog friend Terry H and a fine copy of Toys International.

Oddly enough all the magazines were bought from a dealer in Spain.

For speed I have just taken photographs. Some aren't great sorry.

One day I will scan them.

If you need specific dates for any page then just ask.

In the meantime, enjoy!

  1. these are at the very root of everything which started off the blog, tantalising references in trade journals to things we had only seen briefly. A real behind the scenes look at the business behind the toys. Fabulous stuff indeed!

Some I knew about, some is new, but it all looks so much better in reality. Brilliant!

    1. They are great Paul. Let me know if you need any scans for your site and I'll sort it out. I'm having a week off doing anything so it'd be in a coupla weeks if thats OK.

  4. Amazing to see these sacred manuscripts of vintage toys find their way into the Moonbase Archive. The perfect place to preserve them. Lovely to see some of the pages here, Woodsy :)
