The Revell Convair Space Shuttle kit is an old model, originally from the late fifties, but reissued many times. It's last outing would be a space pursuit set, coupled with the earlier Moonship in the 70s. I bought both kits separately, with the Moonships case as an incomplete kit, already made.
The shuttle was a new reissue and I built it in my favourite colour scheme, to reflect Zero X.The crew area is covered by a red cover, but tonight I decided to quickly customise a Nuclear Ferry style cockpit with a little acetate and a brace of Zoids pilots!
They're nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bill. They are very project swordesque. Are they von braun designs? I love the colours you used. Are they metallic?
ReplyDeleteits a Kraft Ehricke design, mate of Von Braun!
ReplyDeleteI think you've nailed it with your choice of colours, Bill. It's these details which make the difference :)
ReplyDeletecheers Tony, the Zero X blue has always been a big hit here on Mars Base!
ReplyDeleteThis is a re-post of an earlier article. Bill
