Long before the advent of digital photography, I went out into my mothers garden armed with my trusty Canon Sureshot and a roll of XP50 High Contrast film. The film was designed to shoot black and white, but when processed as colour, brought back wonderful sepia toned images. The only problem was that by sending them off for processing, you had to accept what you got back, no chance for a quick preview and a re-shoot!
So these photographs, scanned from original hard copies are my first attempts at model photography - way back in the late 1980's!

The first ones are 100% correct Ran.The others are early Nitto Maschinen Krieger Sd Kfz Armoured Suits, before MK really took off. I loved Imai Macross kits and bought them religiously!
ReplyDeleteMy GF is into Macross (I prefer Votoms, Layzner, Gundam, VIfam) and I should still have some old IMAI and ARII kits from 80's (even theirs electric 1/32 RC mini4wd cars)
