  1. I watched every chance I got. It was one of those much watch shows like Speed Racer as for me and my friends.

One episode stuck with me all these years, the Invisible Monster.

I seem to recall a coloring book during the original run along with the PF Flyer's decoder ring which I always wanted but never got and now don't really want one lol.

H&B did several new series with the best of them being The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest although the first season is a mess. Everyone is off model and Race sounds like a hick instead of a suave secret agent. Season 2 is way better.

I do have a paint book with art from the show I picked up from a Dollar Tree around 20 years ago. I also picked up the DVD release of the series but was a little upset that they had edited two episodes, removing two lines of dialog to make it more politically correct. Luckily that was all they did to it. They left in the smoking, shooting and putting kids into constant danger.

    1. You have a real passion for this show Lance I can tell. Have you ever considered writing a book about it? There's been a modern remake of the show hasn't there or am I dreaming?

  2. Johnny Quest was re-launched by Hasbro (I think) in the early 2000's. There were 2.5" figures and a range of vehicles. Ive got the Dolphin sub, which was a GI Joe toy, retrofitted to the smaller figures.

    1. Actually it was Galoob that was responsible for the late 1990's Real Adventures of Jonny Quest toys. The figures were 3.5" in height making them closer to but a bit shorter to GI Joe's 3.75" height. Hasbro bought out Galoob in late 1998 for around 220 million US. In 2001 Hasbro reused the Quest Wave Ranger as the Night Landing Craft in 2001. In 2002, they reissued the Quest Porpoise as the Cobra Mantis Sub. Both reissues were essentially color variations with new stickers and figures, no mould changes were done to my knowledge.
