Chopper Squad

A little show and tell for a classic sixties Marx toy, the Nasa Moon Scout Helicopter. 

Common sense tells me that a helicopter couldn't work on the Moon, but suspension of disbelief allows me to think the design is cool! The pressurised cabin and turbo prop tail make this toy seem authentic.

With bump and go action and fabulous lighted blades, it was a staple of department store Xmas displays with its eye catching performance in the sixties.
