For me, it's Roy's incredibly moving 'Tears in the Rain' monologue, shown above. It's such a powerful reflection of the human condition and our own fragile state of mortality, spoken by a replicant facing its end. I think it would and should be there amongst the top ten sci fi movie scenes ever, if there was such a list, Woodsy :)
watched it again last night, think a favourite part is where Joi syncs with the real girl. Amazing bit of cinematography and probably quite prophetic too.

ReplyDeletewhole film is wonderful. 2049 is a tour de force too, not sure i could find a favourite part in it, im still as Ash says 'collating'.
