This is a classic case of Woodsy having too many Brians to deal with.Totally understandable.I try to specify BranF NJ to let everyone know I am from New Jersey in the U.S.but I failed to do that here.I often get mistaken for Terranova,who actually doesn't live terribly far from me.

I think the other Brian's will agree with me when I say that as a rule, you can not have too many Brian's. That said, in order to reduce the chance of confusion, my being later to joining in with Moonbase Central I elected to go by Terranova47, my online identity.
My British upbringing being more formal than in the US, I write to Paul who in turn converts that to Woodsy. Addressing someone that informally whom I have not met in person doesn't seem right. Being British Paul refers to Terranova47 as Terran because when the British get informal all names get reduced. I think the longer I live in the US the less informal I become.
As I am a Top Secret agent of S.W.O.R.D it is only prudent to keep my true identity off the net hence the alias Woodsy or W.O.O.D.S.Y to give it its proper format. I shorten readers' names when they are long as it saves time, especially when I'm doing something top secret.
