10th Bloggiversary Special: Vintage Spanish Thunderbirds Children's Uniforms and Accessories

This year I was intrigued to find pictures of vintage Thunderbrds uniforms made in Spain on Todocollecion.

They were released in 1967.

An ideal birthday prezzie I thought! Well, at least the piccies!

The translated items details were:

Original 60's Thunderbirds Playset "Guardianes del Espacio-Uniforme" made in Spain by MA.FI.SA-Sabadell, 1967.

Size of the Box: cm. 45x36x14 (about 18"x14.5"x5.5").

So here it is, the terrific box and contents:

The same company MA FI SA also released a seperate Thunderbirds pistol and holster for the smaller budget I assume.

How these compare to UK Thunderbirds uniforms is worthy of further research if anyone fancies it!

What do you think of the Spanish uniforms?

  1. Great find for the blog, Woodsy. I do like the uniform and the box art. Wonder if the other uniforms shown on the side of the box were released as well?

    1. Yeah, I wondered that too Tone. It would make a great collection! Trying to recall if I had a Thunderbirds uniform as a kid but can't!

    2. And if all the uniforms were made in three different sizes as the example shown, it would make a whole lotta uniforms!

  2. The Thunderbirds merchandising empire was truly global!
