At some pint this year someone mentioned the Luxembourg Dan Dare lost radio series. I think it was reader Terranova47. If like me you are unaware of it then here's a few links about the subject:
Woodsy, thanks for the follow up an the radio shows. As I said earlier, living in North London in line with the BBC Radio relay from Alexandra Palace the Radio Luxembourg signal was unobtainable on our multi valve PYE radio. It faded away in a sea of static.
It's therefore amusing to see that the surviving recordings of the broadcasts are poor!
Youre welcome TerraN. there's something romantic about lost series and films which appeals to me. I love your phrase Sea of Static. Would make a great title for a story!
