YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH EAGLES...

With Sixteen 12 Collectables scheduled to release their new 'Breakaway' Eagle Freighter this coming September I felt the urge to post a few photos of their popular but sadly discontinued  Product Enterprise die-cast line.

The standard Eagle Transporter. The new Sixteen 12 Collectables range will have machine turned and hand finished engine bells.

The limited edition V.I.P. Eagle, which isn't included in the proposed new range, was used to transport Commissioner Simmons to Moonbase Alpha in the opening episode 'Breakaway'.

The Rescue aka the Medical Eagle. A similar model is included in the new range as part of the Ultra Deluxe Hangar set, and comes with a magnetic airlock attachment.

The second model that  also comes with the Ultra Deluxe Eagle Hangar set, the Laboratory Eagle with spine booster attachment. As collectors know this originally came as part of the Product Enterprise Deluxe Gift set, which included an Alpha Tank and Moon Buggy. The Sixteen 12 set will include a hangar diorama, Eagle pod access stairs and in-scale Alpha personnel figures.

The original Product Enterprise Freighter. with winch. The new Sixteen 12 Collectables Freighter carries a cargo pallet filled with radioactive canisters. It also comes with nuclear waste silo cover and Moon buggy.

The prototype of the new Breakaway Eagle was displayed  recently in the USA at WonderFest 2018.

  1. Superb Eagle toys Scoop and terrific photographs. I'm always amazed just how big Space 1999 was and is in the States. Do you think its the most popular Anderson show over there maybe? As for the Breakaway Eagle I love the little Moon Buggy. I think AHI issued one of those on a bubble card didn't they. Great stuff.
