I've been admiring these 3D printed Soyuz spacecraft online.

In gloss yellow.
In matt blue.
In luminous green.
There was a prediction that everyone would have a 3D printer within a few years.
Is that likely? Aldi were selling them earlier in the year.
Have you got one? Are you able to make small models like these?
They look very small and a bit rudimentary (and I think picture 2 is a CG image, not a photo of a 3D printout).
ReplyDeleteI think it'll be a little while before Home 3D printers really catch on.
Comparing to 2D printers, they're only at the 'dot matrix' stage at the moment and are still a bit pricey.

Yeah they are basic I suppose Mish. I quite like the look especially the gloss plastic. It would be fun to make toys at home though I bet.
