WHAT WAS THE FIRST THING YOU EVER COOKED?

The first thing I ever cooked was a Steak Canadiene circa 1974 when I was 13 and Kung Fu mad  I reckon. I've never seen them since.

They were wafer thin sliced circles of frozen beef that you fried for a nano-second and slapped on a bun.

It doesn't really qualify as cooking but I did use a frying pan and turn the electric ring on!

What about you?

    1. ha ha, it could have been Steak Umms Brother. Our steak canadienes were round and wafer thin. Hardy any meat at all really. I love the suggested meals for steak umms. Steak Umm n' Eggs. That's so hard to say. They should have just left out the N' and said Steak-Umm Eggs. Or called the product Steak-Unn instead! Is oatmeal the same as porridge?
