TRUMPTONSHIRE NEEDS YOU!

Hi,

Yep, another Camberwick Green character. This time, a proper Action Man!

Don't worry, several SF craft are already under construction!

Take care,

  1. How tall are they, Kevin? They also seem to have good articulation... and more importantly, they look the part. Wonder how many of the originals survived?

  2. They are somewere between 3 and 4 inches tall. The articulation is because they are made from the small wooden artists' mannequins that are readily available.
As far as I know, only one original soldier (and possibly one other character?) survived, the rest were destroyed. Shame that.
I'm pleased with the likenesses, thanks for the nice comments!

  3. Hi Kevin, honestly and seriously, perhaps you could get Windy Miller to 'drive' Steve Zodiacs Jet Bike? - or be involved with some sort of Andersonesque scene!

    Now that would be surreal!!!

  4. Hi, that's quite a good idea! I've often been tempted to make a jet bike!

  5. Always thought that the XL5 Jet Bikes were much better looking than the Thunderbirds 'scooters.' In fact, from since I first saw them in 1963 I've always wanted one!

  6. I used to own a moped that looked like one! Wasn't hi-tech though, you had to pedal it to start it and to mix fuel and oil you needed to put both in the same tank and shake the bike!

  7. My dad had a car like that. It had a two stroke engine, and sounded like a motorbike! - It was called a Wartburg Knight.

  8. Sounds great! The thing I had was a moby x. It sounded more like a lawn mower, but less powerful!
