Richard Dixon's Zero Hour: in the Beginning

Hello Woodsy

These images cover the initial stuff I did for Bluebird and other publishing things for Bluebird during my time on Zero Hour .

Three images of Bad Brigade Petroleum Tanker....secret Bad Brigade Hideout ....Captured Eagle Squadron Pilot .

Two images of Hovercraft Station Model set .

All these images were the very first Zero Hour items I produced to introduce my style of work to the senior Bluebird management Team....

following the presentation of these items I was asked to join the team as Principal Photographer and Set Designer for all Advertisement , Presentation and Exhibitions for the Zero Hour product range.

All... these images eventually turned up in advertisements for the product they were also taken up by Mattel for use in the USA when they took the product under Licence for selling across the USA under their label.

For more images of my current work my web site address is

Cheers

  2. Excellent and great to see a toy manufacturers perspective. Ive got all the produced vehicles in the series - I think! as I cant find a definitive checklist- apart from the Bad Brigade Ambulance set. I love these toys, far superior to Manta Force.Looking forward to part two!
