Browsing through online Google Patents I came across this Billy Blastoff toy.
Its the figure sat in his space buggy.
I had one as a kid and loved it!
Interestingly though, the patent is by Tomy of Japan.
I had though Eldon created this toy. Are Eldon related to Tomy?
Anyone know?
like a lot of toys, US companies licensed designs from Japan, such as Transformers from Takara. Eldon just acquired a japanese toy and rebranded it for the US market
