FLASH HAS A BRAND NEW BAG


Its always a buzz when I see new ways pf packaging LP style astronauts.

This was a new bag I saw this January on Ebay:

Flash Gordon Space Warriors.

These were released by MSS, M. Shimmel and Sons of Brooklyn New York,

    You've an eye for finding the obscure, Woodsy. What a great header card illustration! The spaceman's helmet and suit have a retro/industrialised look about them :)

      Thanks Tone. I have liked the small Golden astronauts since I was a kid and got SpaceX toys and I like the bigger LP astronauts ever since the early 90's when there was a chance that they'd been included in the fabled Project SWORD Moonbase Playset. Just a chance mind and the set hasn't been seen in decades.

    My first thought was perhaps a projectile with tail fins, Woodsy? I could be totally wrong though. Wonder if the illustrator had a story idea behind the image, or just patched together a few space theme props for good measure? I like it either way :)
