To celebrate Scoop's Birthday I thought I'd share again his very first contribution to Moonbase Central from 10 years ago.
Its a marvellous photo of his very apt Triang SpaceX Moonbase HQ set and Mike sent it in in December 2008, just two months after the blog actually started. Its had 2000 hits since then!
Just noticed that the toy actually has Mike's initials on the side, MB! Mike later joined the blog's writing team as Scoop and the rest is history.

Ten years eh, Woodsy, where does the time go.I have to say it's been an enjoyable experience. I still have the bagged space car I bought from you off eBay which had your note saying why not check out your new website. I did of course, and was reacquainted with Bill, whom I'd met several before, and as you say the rest is history. Long may it continue:)
ReplyDeleteha ha, yep. A whole decade! I was in my Forties then! I remember that Blue Box space car. I still have the space jet I never sold! Hope your'e fighting fit again and ready to Andersonize us all again.
