FOOD HEAVEN?

Well after seeing Brian's amazingly good-looking Biscuit Sandwich what do you make in the kitchen to cheer yourselves up readers?

What's your comfort food?

  1. My local supermarket in NYC now has cans of Heinz Baked Beans and Heinz Spaghetti from the UK. When served on toast the sugar in these returns me to childhood. Luckily I no longer have to carry these back to the US in my luggage.

    1. Yep, Heinz beans on toast is just class Bri. I'm glad you can get them in NYC. A new innovation for us is cheesy beans on toast. Grated cheddar is melted into a pan of hot baked beans and then poured over hot buttered toast. Yummee! Do you like Heinz cocktail sausages and spaghetti or beans?

    1. Yep, I like spicy stuff too Ran. Peppery beans. Mmmm. My fave hot meal is an indian or thai curry.

  3. A big dish of pasta, or a pot of stew, and plenty of buttered bread.Economical and satisfying. We are about to get another Blizzard here.Weather reports call for 12+ inches of snow, deep enough to lose your Action Man! I'm probably staying home from work tonight, and a bowl of Irish stew sounds comforting!

    1. Get those Gi Joes clearing your porch Bri! Hope the stew keeps the chill out. I can't believe that you get 12 inches of snow! British society would collapse!
