Paint Your Wagon: Rob's Finished Mars 2000 Rod

Here is my completed version of Mars 2000 little cereal premium SF model. 

Mars 2000, was another weird example of toy Sci-Fi from the 1970s. Mars 2000: a cereal premium model "kit" (9 pieces) of some sort of futuristic space buggy.

 The influence of Hot Wheels is evident in the dumb mag wheels. Approx. 1/100 scale. 

It came from Cap'n Crunch, I think.

    It looks superb Rob. Its Rob's Rod! It reminds me of a matchbox car but I can't think what. I do see the Hot Wheels influence. Great job!

    The little silver grille on the bonnet reminds of the similar one on the SpaceX Cricket P1.
