Pino went downstairs for the first and last time.
He started his Range Rover and left it running ....
... whilst he went to see his doggy friend Blue whom he'd never met.
He had lived his life in the attic.
Pino drove off into the big World leaving his old life behind.
He shed a sparking digital tear.
He had grown up.
I'm getting choked up here.
ReplyDeleteha ha! Its a funny thing Kev a Pino. Like having a small robot boy in the home - like David in AI sort of. Sadly I never really got to grips with 'growing' him as per the instructions. Pino grows up as long as you keep interacting with him. i only got him out of box once when i bought him, switched him on, spoke for a dat but put him back 'cos he kept crying. he stayed in that box 15 years until this week. stupid me, id left the batteries in. doh. after cleaning all the contacts i got him working for one final day before he gets auctioned. i feel quite bad about it!
