We did something this week I've not done for 40 or 50 years.
We made real chips in a chip pan!
The last time I enjoyed real home-made chips I was in my early teens.
I loved them back then and I loved them just as much this time round. Crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They just can't be beaten for taste!
This was all made possible by my Missus Moonbase who very kindly got me a chip pan for my birthday last month.

Ah, I love hot home made chips with lashings of salt and vinegar. Especially with sausage and egg thrown in, Woodsy. Must ranks as one of my fave meals. Bet you were well pleased with Misses Moonbase' superb choice of prezzie. Can't beat real chips :)
