Yes it's 10 AM in NJ and the snow is just starting to fall.It's supposed to snow all day with a maximum accumulation of 6 inches by nightfall.The good news is the road crews are out keeping things clear.Now all I have to do is keep the snow off my truck.It will look a lot like Christmas tonight!
Thursday night we had snow here in Houston. Friday morning revealed enough to cover the ground and kids were actually making snowmen. More like snowkids since they were maybe 2 feet tall but the ground snow hung around until 11am when it all finished melting away. At the moment it is a sweltering 46 degrees here near NASA (I live about 5 miles away).
Houston, we have a problem! We're biulding snowmen and getting sunburnt at the same time! Ha ha. Birmingham airport has just been closed here Lance. All its flights grounded. Next it'll be schools that shut. Great for kids and teachers! England and snow just don't work. In Scotland they're used to it and are much better prepared. What's it like living near NASA?
