ROLL OUT
Modeller Kevin D has sent in a photo of his Spacex MLP model, and based it on Robert McCall's famous 1964 'Roll Out' painting, seen many times over the years in books, comics and even on the Project Sword. Cape Kennedy set.

Stunning work from Kevin. I love the flying P3 Helicopter, no doubt his scratchbiult one. Its hard to tell the difference from the originals! Your inclusion of the Dr. Who Roll Out image from 1971 is fascinating. I've never seen that one before. Fantastic! Is the artist named?

DeleteThe artist is still Robert McCall, Woodsy. I suspect the editors have just retouched it for the annual's printing processes. The same will probably apply the Sword box too, which have obviously been altered to include the Sword emblems.
