Very informative link,Scoop.I was curious about the similarity to the Gillete/PrestomagiX sets I used to buy with pocket change back in the 80's.
ReplyDeleteThe American PrestomagiX stuff looks to be pretty much the same sort of thing, Brian. I'm assuming by what you say that Letraset wasn't sold in the States. I don't know whether PrestomagiX was on sale here in the UK.
DeleteAccording to the link , Gillete was a partner in producing Letraset during the early '80's.then left to produce PrestomagiX in the States.Some of the early Letrasets look to be larger than the PrestomagiX.All the same, I enjoyed them as a child.Colorforms sets were also a fave because you could set them up again and again.
