NEW SIXTEEN 12 EAGLES

Remember those fabulous 12" die-cast  Product Enterprise Eagles that ceased production in 2009.

Of course you do. Since Product Enterprise stopped trading, those Eagles have been highly sought after by collectors, and quite right too, they were a great line up.

Well, they could be back - sort of...

Sixteen 12 Collectables have recently announced that they are proposing to release a new set of 12" die-casts Eagles.

Sixteen 12 Collectables formally known as Product Enterprise have plans to create a limited run of special edition sets featuring four individual models plus an intriguing deluxe hangar set.

Each of the sets  would be limited to 1000 individually numbered models, and would feature vehicles and dioramas seen in various episodes.

Assuming the project gets the green light, prices will be announced around September, but that hasn't stopped people already reserving them in anticipation.

Here's a link to the web site, but turn your volume down before you arrive as the music is rather loud...

  1. I've registered interest in the Immunity Syndrome set as I've always wanted a model of the glider. I do wonder what the price will be though. IIRC they were about £40 in 2005 even without the extras, so maybe double that now? There's also a rumour going round that they may make a 12" Hawk too.

  2. They do look like a good set, Yorkie, and there's a quite a buzz amongst collectors, especially those who missed out first time round. The 'limited edition' bit is putting people off a tad as that usually means expensive, although some collectors who sell things on are worried it might de-value their stuff, although I hope dealers don't buy them all up just to make a fast buck...
A 12" Hawk would be great, too

    1. I've been after a larger Hawk, I bought the small 4" Japanese years ago that accompanies my Eagles in a diorama.

    1. Hi Jorge its Robert from Australia. I agree there should be at least two Collision Course sets. One could have Eagle 10 with a Vertical Grab (attached to body without transporter pod)A second Eagle, specifically Eagle 1, could have a Vertical Grab attached to the transporter pod. A second Collision Course Set could have a Medical Eagle docked with Eagle 1 with a retractable connecting tube :-)

  5. I was fortunate enough to get one of the VIP variants through ebay a few years ago so it would be nice to get my paws on the Freighter model and complete the set from the first episode "Breakaway"
