Been watching Star Trek The Original Series on the Horror Channel.
In the episode about a new Rome, Bread and Circuses, there is an early scene where Kirk and the boys walk through a canyon eventually being challenged by rifle-bearing men.
You can see this on this You Tube clip which starts as the Captain beams down.
For some reason the scene reminded me completely of the canyon scene in the early stages of Star Wars A New Hope, where Luke, R2 and C3PO enter the rocky gorge only to be met by rifle-wielding Tuskan Raiders.

As usual I'm probably just seeing things because that's the way my brain works! What do you think?
