My most recent eBay buy was the result of some out of the box thinking! - For some years I've been dissatisfied with the high frequency performance of my living room surround loudspeakers, but I didn’t want to buy a new set as they were fine in all other areas. So I bought some tiny standalone super-tweeter units intended for a car to fit on top of them! About the size of a matchbox, they are barely noticeable…
But the difference is unbelievable! - It’s like I’ve got a brand new set of very expensive speakers, and the whole upgrade for five speakers and three spares, cost me £11.50.
Its for the Living Room audio system, which covers the lot, music and TV/Home Cinema. And earlier, I just wired two into the Radio Studio Monitors, and even with this kit, I could hear a difference! - Wiring was a doddle too.
They are JT-004B High Efficiency dome tweeters. They'll take up to 500W each.
I can't tell you as I've given it to Plastic Warrior as an exclusive, but then they'll appear on the blog! I bid against myself twice, so it was pretty special - but got them for my first bid with one against! Six-quid something in mid-December - bargain!

sounds like a top top that Bill. I would never have thought of that. Is it for the telly or your audio or both?
