Just watching an excellent episode of Land of the Giants called Ghost Town.
Basically its about a model town where an eccentric but affable old man keeps his 'little people' captive. The tension is created by his very sadistic Granddaughter Pandora, who likes to set fire to the streets.
One of the model cars used in the episode is this robust looking light blue pick-up seen here.
The same vehicle also appears life-size too.
Anyone know what the vehicle is and the make of the toy?
Looks like a jeep gladiator to me... the miniature is probably a tonka toy.

DeleteHi Woodsy- while Tonka did make a small Ford pickup , what Percy Helton is holding is actually the larger Tonka Chevy Fleetside pickup truck. So now you know.

DeleteSuperb Steve. Well ID'd! It works really well in the show, from model to life size. Percy uses a remote control. I wonder of that was just for show?
