By the way, the real toy prototype is now available to see on Paul V's brilliant SpaceX toys website. Paul discovered the Registered design pictures of the toy whilst doing his research. Have a look if you haven't seen it. A couple of things I notice are the USA flag and UNITED STATES stickers, which have been crossed out no doubt because the eventual toy wasn't going to have them on. Does this mean that this prototype was a toy sourced in the US? The barrels remind me completely of those on the SpaceX Cricket and the two blister cockpits on the turret remind me of those on the JR21 Submarine Aircraft carrier. Check out Paul's pictures and fascinating commentary here http://www.triangspacextoys.info/SpGApapr/rUKdsgns/MA944883.html
Nice to see the Hover Tank on the move, Kevin. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Haven't managed to get it hovering yet though!
ReplyDeleteGiven another day I think you would have cracked hovering Kev! A superb model and thanks again for your amazing efforts!
