Remember these toys from the eighties?

Thought I'd post some of the toys and stuff my daughter had as a kid in the 1980's. Not our generation but one day soon they'll be collected by their own if not already. Not sure of the names of all of these now.

  1. The first game was called survivor here in the States, that was a good one.I do remember the wonderful waterfuls there was several different types. The Fisher Price activity center and record player have been virtually unchanged in 50 years!I find it interesting that a top seller today is the wooden telephone with wheels that is pulled around on a string. No one has a telephone like that anymore, yet it still sells like nobody's business.

    1. Great memories Brian. Yes, Fisher Price toys have lasted well physically and the designs are classics so I imagine they'll go on and on. Maybe there's a Fisher Price cell phone now! The piles of small metallic rectangles were small bars of chocolate that were placed in the freezer. Our daughter loved 'em!

  2. Hipster's love the fisher price 1st record player! Plays 7" and 12" in 45rpm or 33rpm!! Poor sound quality doesn't take away the joy of taking a dozen 7's on a date or picnic!! Sold mine for an even more inferior national Panasonic! £50!!
