Christmas as a child was always exciting, always mysterious and always snowing. Or at least a bit frosty. Nowadays, with global warming etc, its rare to see snow at xmas. For me, it was always part of the magic, but today all we get is dismal grey days. To try and capture that distant mood, ive shot some toys in a diy snow scene.
Thanks for that Bill, the only snow we will see this Christmas I'm afraid. Great shots to boot!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmastime to everyone
Lovely snaps Bill. Love that little Santa Fe loco in the top shot and that mini space car is pretty cool in the bottom pic. There's some strong winds on the way here and that's before we've eaten any brussel sprouts!
ReplyDeleteThose are excellent shots Bill! Growing up in Milwaukee in the area of the country I refer to as 'Winter Wonderland' one would think that every Christmas would have been a White Christmas. Au Contraire! I remember having snow - and snow storms - around Thanksgiving (late November) and then again in January or so, but Christmas was almost always just cold and dry.
