My attic has become a big mess!
Now the family has grown I need to sort it out.
Its a dumping ground for years' worth of accumulated detritus and junk with my stash of toys mixed in!
My old 'ebaying desk' is buried too!
Every corner is crammed ......
... overflowing with books, board games and videos!
There are boxes in which I have no idea whats inside.
Probably more junk!
Only my big box videos have any semblance of order.
But I can't get to them.
and my old books are guarded by Amy from Congo!
There are even hidden gems piling up like these Space Kidettes and Fantastic Four jigsaws.
And here is the fruit of my initial labours -
four dozen videos neatly packed away in banana boxes.
I'm going to need to eat a lot of bananas!
Do you have a junk room readers? Any plans to tidy it up?
My rooms are beginning to look like 'junk rooms' because of the amount of stuff lying around - and my attic (or 'loft' as we Scots call it) is far worse than yours. One day I'll have to sort it all out.

ReplyDeleteBy 'worse', I mean for the amount of stuff in it, not that your loft looks 'bad'. It's actually more interesting to look at than mine. 'cos my stuff is all in boxes.

DeleteI actually like the look of your attic, Woodsy. I just see a colourfully informal style of structure which I relate to. The attic offers the fun of the hunt with the excitement of old toys and paperbacks. That said, the tolerant and wise Mrs. K is often on my case for similar aesthetic infringements, so perhaps I'm not the best person to offer an opinion :D

ReplyDeleteha ha! my big boxes are getting boxed up Arto! I need to clear some space in case we need to store stuff for a daughter or ever move house. The bookcases the video's are stacked in have to go. Ditto the chest of drawers and other bits of furniture. Then I'll be able to see what we have!
