SHINE ON..

It was a beautiful Harvest Moon last night, something we won't see as bright until 2024, so I'm told.

Anyone else managed to take a snap of it?

  1. I sat there like a numpty, looking at it through the front room window, brilliantly white. But I couldnt be bothered getting all my kit set up on the drive! I never seem to be able to get the settings just right. might have a pop tonight, weather permitting.

  2. I took that photo after coming back from the pub last night around 9.00 pm so it was low in the sky. Weather shouldn't be to bad tonight in our area hopefully Bill, so it should be worth a try.

  5. coming back after the pub Scoop! It sounds like a close encounter of the blurred kind! ha ha. Lovely shot. The detail is just great. I bet millions of people stared up at the moon this weekend. In a way it does remind me of the power of extraterrestrial bodies to fascinate, which I suppose was the basis of Speilberg's classic Encounters film.

  6. I love looking up at the night sky Woodsy, and trying to recognise the various constellations, and spot the planets.Unfortunately like most people who live in towns the big problem is light pollution.
