MY PROJECT SWORD TOYS COLLECTION PHOTOGRAPHS FROM 2007

I took these shots of my collection in 2007, a year before launching this blog. They were for a one-off photo-book I made for myself via the Tesco online self-publishing service.

Apologies for the awful backgrounds!
I am not a natural talent when it comes to photography!

  1. Those are great shots Woodsy and still a fine photo essay og your collecting! Good to see 'em!

    1. Thanks Ed. It was fun to make a photo booklet and in many ways publishing one for myself spurred me on to do the blog. I just wish I had actual photos of me and my toys when I was a kid but despite loads of family piccies being taken none include toys. Mist of them were taken outside in the Sixties!

  2. What an amazing collection and the photos are superb! So colourful and vivid. I'm not really familiar with some of these spacecraft. Based on what I've read on this blog I think Zero X is a rare piece, but what about the Cape Kennedy set and Apollo Saturn Rocket? Would I be right to think they're also very rare, Woodsy? I haven't seen many around at all. Either way, they're beautiful examples of vintage toy spacecraft.

    1. Thanks Tone. You can still pick up SWORD Apollo Saturns and Cape Kennedy Sets if you're patient. The Zero X pops up more often, on the Bay. The photos I took 9 years ago amazingly are still available as a picture book I think on the Tesco online-publishing website!
